Host Mindful Mondays (or any other day of the week)

Mindfulness and meditation reduces stress, increases calmness and promotes happiness. Encourage employees to start with just a few minutes of focused breathing at the beginning of each workday to reduce stress.

According to a Statistics Canada Health Report

  • 27% of Canadian workers claim to have high to extreme levels of stress on a daily basis
  • 46% of Canadian workers reported to that they felt “a bit” of stress on a day-to-day basis
  • 62% of workers say work is their main source of stress

A simple mindfulness program could give employees the tools they need to improve stress management. Try bringing your team together for scheduled mindfulness sessions. Keep it simple and use guided meditation programs and you’ve got a Mindful Day!
